YardCal is built to need as little of your data as possible. You don't create an account, and there's nothing to log in to.

The numbers you enter stay on your device

Every calculation runs locally in your browser. The dimensions, materials and prices you type are never sent to or stored on our servers — they exist only in your browser tab and are gone when you close it.

Analytics

To understand which calculators are used and to improve the site, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These measure page views, traffic sources, and general usage patterns such as clicks and scrolling. Microsoft Clarity may record anonymized session interactions (heatmaps) with input fields masked by default. This analytics data is aggregate and is never tied to the specific values you enter into a calculator, and we do not sell it.

Cookies

The calculators themselves work without cookies. However, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies and similar identifiers to measure usage as described above. You can block these with your browser settings or a content blocker, and the calculators will still work normally. If we add advertising in the future, this page will be updated accordingly.
